Client A.M. is charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Death, Failure to Remain at the Scene of an Accident, Theft under $5000, Fail to Comply with Recognizance. While attempting to leave a gas station without paying for his gas, the station attendant attempted to prevent A.M. from leaving. During the alternation, it is alleged that A.M.’s negligence caused his car to come in contact with the attendant, resulting in the attendant’s death. Despite the seriousness of the charges and numerous outstanding charges in other jurisdictions, Mr. Batasar was able to have bail granted and client released.
