Client M.P. was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Utter Threats and Breach of Probation Order. Client M. P. has alleged ties in the Montreal prostitution industy. It was alleged by a witness that M.P. was involved in a domestic dispute in which the victim receievd injuries including brusied ribs, lacerations to the elbow, knee, the eye and swelling to the cheek. The Crown Attorney assigned to the case was seeking 6 months custody. After a hard- fought trial and witness testimonies, all charges except for a simple Assault were dismissed.
