Client A.C. was charged with Mischief Over $5000 and Assault. It was alleged that after a heated argument during which A.C. refused to leave the premises of his ex- girlfriend, A.C. began assaulting the boyfriend of his ex- girlfriend by punching and kicking him. When the victim threatened to contact the police, client A.C. left the premise and while doing so, damaged a parked vehicle in the driveway. The Crown Attorney was seeking four to six months jail time on a plea to both charges. Mr. Batasar was able to successful resolve this matter for only probation and no custody.
