Client S.J was charged with one count of Break, Enter and Commit Indictable Offence. It was alleged that after completing a number of jobs as a handy man for a specific employer, S.J.’s employer failed to provide him payment for services rendered. As a result, it was alleged that client S.J. broke into his employer’s residence and stole a snow blower, assumed as collateral. After lengthy discussions with the Crown Attorney regarding a number of key issues, Mr. Batasar was able to have the charge successfully withdrawn against S.J. withdrawn. No conviction.
