Client I.M was charged with Assault and Uttering Threats. It was alleged that I.M assaulted a staff member of the Sargent Farms.
It was alleged that on the 5th of July the accused attended Sargent Farms to pick up an order. The order was being filled and it was alleged the client yelled to the victim “you are slow hurry”. The client was told that he was not allowed to load an unrefrigerated vehicle with chicken, and it was alleged that the client stepped up to the employee area shoved the victim who fell back over the cases of chicken. It was also alleged that the client shook his fist at another employee and the victim, and yelled: “come down here and I’ll punch you out as well.” The client was later arrested and released on a Promise to Appear in Milton court.
After lengthy discussions with the Crown Attorney in Milton, Mr. Batasar was successful in bringing forth the reasonable probability of conviction and was able to have the Crown agree to all criminal charges being dropped with no criminal record and NO CONVICTION.
