Client G.S. was charged with Excess Blood Alcohol. It was alleged that after an evening at a local pub, G.S. left the establishment and proceeded to drive home. A nearby officer stopped G.S.’s car for the purpose of determining the sobriety of the driver. Indicators left the officer to believe that the accused was under the influence of alcohol and proceeded to conduct a roadside sobriety test. The accused failed the roadside test, which rendered him in operation of a vehicle illegally. After numerous discussions with the Crown Attorney, Mr. Batasar was able to have the criminal charge withdrawn. No conviction, no criminal record.
