Client H.M. was charged with 15 firearms- related offences after a tip from the public lead police to H.M.’s apartment where three loaded handguns were uncovered. H.M. plead guilty to only 5 of the 15 charges and despite the Crown prosecutor’s request for a 3 to 5 year jail term, H.M. received probation for a conditional sentence and avoided a lengthy jail sentence.
