Client R.H. was charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference. It was alleged that while at work, R.H. had inappropriately touched a family member of his employer. A Peace Bond was offered by the Crown Attorney, however due to the innocence of R.H., this offer was rejected by the defence. This matter was subsequently set for a five- day trial at the Superior Court level. During trial, there were blatant inconsistencies in both the victim and witness testimonies. As a result, the presiding Judge rendered R.H. not guilty on all charges. No conviction.
